Our Goals

The LWV of Wayzata-Plymouth Area will empower voters and safeguard our democracy by:

  • Conducting voter registration in our community.
  • Educating our membership and community about nonpartisan issues impacting our democracy (e.g., redistricting, election reform, voting rights, racial justice, etc.).
  • Advocating for nonpartisan issues (e.g., ERA, voting rights, redistricting) to safeguard our democracy.
  • Partnering with community organizations to leverage our impact.
  • Developing and applying a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) lens to our league work, both internally and externally.
  • Growing our membership to better reflect the communities we serve.
